Visual media conference in Yorkshire

* 1 min read

We recently announced that our Innovation Director, Mark Eggleton will be a guest speaker at the Visual Media Conference this year. Also speaking with Mark is Professor of Retail Innovation and Director of the Faraday Centre, Cathy Barnes.

This conference brings together leading figures across a wide range of media to discuss and debate how integration of visual media may continue to disrupt the thinking on communications. A wide range of exciting speakers will offer real life examples and will ensure visitors leave with the tools and ideas which can be applied to business.

The event will be looking at…

Why the Tour de France is coming to Yorkshire
Can TV advertising serve different adverts to different households watching the same programme?
Why do QR codes not have traction?

The conference is certainly flying the flag for the North of England in regard to the future landscape of marketing communications. Media Market Place, who are hosting the Visual Media Conference say:

“The conference is in the North because the industry is buzzing and the appetite for informed debate is strong – the concentration of media companies, digital agencies and printers is a magnet for the leading experts, industry resources and suppliers.”

This event looks toward the future of technology, discussing the pros and cons, the pit falls and the successes of modern technology and how it can be integrated successfully into business.

The conference is on 25th June at The Rose Bowl in Leeds.
